So. This happened. Took a long time figuring out render layers and organizing it and just like mechanical stuff but kind of got it. Played with color correction in AfterEffects but I don't like how it turned out, so I might make the plants severely droop instead, but with render layers, I would just be replacing the background image (in a single frame) so I'm not too worried about it. Did have some issues with the layers, since she crosses behind and in front of the door and the table, I had to noodle with some masks and rotoscoping in AfterEffects. It isn't perfect, but I'm thinking maybe there is a better way to do it.

I also changed the camera angle a bit from the previous ideas, so it would include the picture frame as well, though I'm not sure if it's too leading to the audience but I guess I will get feedback on it in class.
The composer sent me two ideas he's been playing with so that is super exciting.
This week I need to really REALLY rework the animatic and lock down the story and camera angles. AND fix the Widow Rig since she doesn't have working eyelids, which I didn't realize until rendering. I'm debating between redoing the whole rig, from geo up, or just adding eyelids and making it look kind of dorky like the early version of her. Leaning towards the latter since it seems less time-wasting.
