Working on delivering that first Rendered Shot. Slow going but its only 5 seconds so it shouldn't be too bad -- I'm only animating the first Shot where she enters the room. I need to revise all my other shots so. They'll come later.
I have most of my assets placed, just need to get some big bushes and put some hanging plants up in the baskets and possibly some clutter on the very top drawer above the door. Need to fix the Square pots that are along the back wall ledge in RenderedShot scene file, as they've gone purple. I think I need to re-reference them in MainGreenhouse and then see if that works, like the WidowRig from a couple weeks ago.
Still in the blocking stage, which I'll include below, and so far the rig seems to be holding up. Might change a couple camera angles down the line though, including the one where she slides to the floor since I'm not sure how that might look so it might be best for me to cheat it a bit.
Also, here are some rendered stills I decided to take. Rendered in like 30 seconds, so I'm doing well. Will need to start working in the labs however, as Maya on my computer has crashed probably 20 times this evening trying to animate. Luckily it auto-saved to Temp files but. Annoying nonetheless.
(Flute is from https://free3d.com/3d-model/flute-v04--879181.html )
Might try to change the right windows and make them not reflective but transparent so you can see the outside sphere.
Andddd yeah. Composer said they will be sending me a draft this weekend. Found a sound engineer. Things are looking good.
Notes to self:
- still will need to composite the background and desaturate -- using Render Layers
- draw the things for the picture frames!
- fix the Square pots
- reference in hanging plants (forsythia?) make them vary
- big bushes for plant box
- check that the Area Lights are doing something and if not, delete them
