Week 10 Update

Some goals to have completed by Winter Break. I will be on campus for 3/4 weeks of break anyways, so I intend on working during that stretch as well.

• Grandpa Model

  • Textured

  • Rigged

• FINAL camera + animatic timing

• Models

  • Water Tower

  • House

• Basic scene environment

• Texture test/compositing

  • Render test?

And some pictures of the house model I have been working on. Looked like a stalker pulling up the reference images.

I will be putting in a bunch of trees and plants to populate it and make it more realistic, but I still want an artistic approach so I am playing with how rigid or fluid I want to make it.

This is the GoogleMaps satellite view of the area. You can see the two modern day Water Towers, but the old one that I will be using is the one that is more central and stone-looking. The house above can be found right at the intersection of Bellevue St and Bellevue Hill Rd, hidden in the clusters of trees.
